Our Mission Statement

At Dick’s Auto Group, it is our mission to provide sales and service excellence while building lasting relationships.

We are many individuals working together as a team with integrity, honesty, and commitment for our customers, our community and our families.

Dick Inukai, Founder and Father

Dick Inukai was born in a Japanese internment camp in Tule Lake, California

Started selling cars in the 60’s for Ron Tonkin

During the 70’s he opened Hillsboro Dodge but the 1973 oil crisis reduced the demand for large gas guzzling vehicles

Dick, as resilient as ever, went back to work for Ron Tonkin while at the same time opening his own used car dealership

In 1985 Dick opened Dick’s Country Dodge and in 1987 he became a partner at MacKenzie Ford

Dick passed away in 2011 and is survived by his son, Scott, and his daughters Shannon and Stacie

Scott Inukai, Owner and President

After graduating from Parkrose High School and joining the U.S. Marine Corps, Scott started working at Dick’s Country Dodge in 1988

In 1991 he attended the NADA Dealer Candidate Academy

Scott has worked in all facets of the dealership excelling at all things sales!

Scott is married with 4 children and is an avid golfer, reader and enjoys spending time with his family
